You’ve just had your new Elgas bottle delivered, and our team have tested all the connections for any gas leaks. It’s safe and ready to go, now it’s time to turn it on!
Here’s how.
- Ensure all gas appliances, like your gas cooktop, are turned off
- Head outside to your cylinders. Ensure the MCO Tap is pointing towards the cylinder that is full.
- Turn the gas bottle tap on the top of the cylinder ‘open’
- Try igniting your gas cooktop, allowing a few moments for the gas to purge through the line
